A MasterBlend of 70% single malt, and 30% premium grain whisky produced from unmalted barley in the Willowbank Distillery. Aged for 6 years in American Bourbon barrels, before finishing for 2 years in French Oak NZ wine barrels.

The Story

This is the father of our current Dunedin Distillery DoubleWood. This was first transferred into wine barrels by Warren Preston in 2006, and released in 2008 after two years in the new barrels for a total of 8 years.
