Our journey began with Willowbank Distillery, and now for the first time, we proudly present whisky from the Dunedin Distillery inside the iconic Speight’s Brewery. Distilled from malted New Zealand barley and aged in American ex-bourbon barrels, this non-peated South Island Single Malt has been slowly maturing in our seaside bond store in Oamaru. Deep honeycomb and orange in colour, it’s well balanced with light fruity notes, soft spice, and creamy malt flavours — a pleasant wee drop to sip!
Notes
Nose: Sweet malted grain, tangerine and mandarin zest, honey, and mild vanilla.
Palate: Rich, oily mid-palate with caramel and light citrus fruits.
Finish: Long and smooth with soft spices.
